We are growing our volunteer network by expanding FHBB services and adding more roles for individuals wanting to join our team on a regular/weekly basis! There are roles for everyone both on and off site. If you have a specific skill or project, tell us, and we can chat about how it fits into our services and mission. Groups
Having your family/friends, business or organization volunteer together is a fantastic way to get involved with FHBB. Group opportunities are available depending on the size of your group and what projects we have during that time.
Skills Based Volunteering
Skills based volunteers support the FHBB mission by using their professional or trade specific experience and expertise. Examples of skills based volunteering include translating documents into another language, writing articles for our newsletter, taking photographs that can be used to promote our services and activities, and finding new fundraising sources. Many of these opportunities can be completed remotely on your own schedule. They may be one time projects or ongoing service, but they ALL help our community.
