HOW TO RECEIVE HELP

Market & pantry hours


The Market @ FHBB

For guest use and first time guests.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00 am - 11:30am
Tuesday: 2:00-6:30pm  
Sign in begins 5 minutes prior to opening and guests will shop in the order of arrival.
Due to limited space, guests will be welcomed into the building in groups according to their time of arrival.
All guests must be signed in by 11:20 (or 6:20 on Tuesday evenings).

Church Food Pantries 
​A Household Information Sheet is required to receive food from our local church pantry partners and is available at the Flint Hills Breadbasket. The number of these sheets is limited by the storage capacity at each location.
Wednesday- First United Methodist (621 Humbolt)
Thursday- Seven Dolors (731 Pierre)
Friday- First Presbyterian (801 Leavenworth)


Grace Baptist (2901 Dickens Ave)
No Household Information Sheet is required to receive food from Grace Baptist Church.
The number of guests each week will be limited due to storage capacity. Guests are welcome to visit another location if they cannot be served at the time of their visit. 
Tuesday- 9:00-11:30am

Peace-Full Pantry (2500 Kimball Ave)
No Household Information Sheet is required to receive food from Peace-Full Pantry. Enter the west church door on Sunnymeade Road.
Sunday 2:00-4:00pm
Tuesday 2:00-5:00pm
Thursday 5:00-7:00pm

GUEST INFORMATION
The Market at FHBB is available for you to use on a weekly basis. When you come to the Breadbasket, you will have the choice to select food from our shelves and to receive a paper to take with you to one of our pantry partners, located at First United Methodist, Seven Dolors, and First Presbyterian churches. Peace-Full Pantry (Peace Lutheran) and Grace Baptist Church are also partners with FHBB and do not require a paper from FHBB in order to visit their locations.

​To qualify for services, you simply need to live within our service area and need help to have sufficient safe and nutritious food that meets your dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life  You are asked to provide proof of address and to complete our guest information sheet. No other documents are necessary. 

Click on the Guest Information link to review the document that each guest is asked to complete for service. The information collected is intended to assist the Breadbasket in meeting your needs and collecting general  information about food insecurity in Riley County. The document can be printed and completed prior to a visit or filled out in person at the Breadbasket. 

Flint Hills Breadbasket serves residents of Manhattan, Riley County, Fort Riley and St. George who are experiencing food insecurity. It may be appropriate at times for food to be provided to guests who live outside of our area and in those circumstances, emergency food will be provided and you will be connected with resources in your home community.
