The food selection room is available for guests to use on a weekly basis. When guests come to the Breadbasket, they will have the choice to select some food from our shelves and to receive a voucher to take with them to one of our four pantry partners, located at Grace Baptist, First United Methodist, Seven Dolors, and First Presbyterian churches. Peace-Full Pantry (Peace Lutheran) is also a pantry partner with FHBB and does not require a voucher in order to visit their pantry.
At this time, guests are asked to provide proof of a Riley County address and to complete our guest information sheet. No other documents are necessary.
Click on the Guest Information link to review the document that each guest is asked to complete for service. The information collected is intended to assist the Breadbasket in meeting guest needs and collecting general information about food insecurity in Manhattan. The document can be printed and completed prior to a visit or filled out in person at the Breadbasket.
Flint Hills Breadbasket serves residents of Manhattan who are experiencing food insecurity. It may be appropriate at times for food to be provided to guests who live outside of Manhattan.
