We are growing our volunteer network by expanding FHBB services and adding more roles for individuals wanting to join our team on a regular/weekly basis! There are roles for everyone both on and off site. If you have a specific skill or project, tell us, and we can chat about how it fits into our services and mission. Community Service

Welcoming new members to our volunteer team is amazing, even if it's only for a brief period. Whether you're aiming to fulfill service hours, lend a hand during your school break, or simply contribute your time, we have exciting possibilities that might align with your interests and availability!

Groups

Having your family/friends, business or organization volunteer together is a fantastic way to get involved with FHBB. Group opportunities are available depending on the size of your group and what projects we have during that time.

Skills Based Volunteering

Skills based volunteers support the FHBB mission by using their professional or trade specific experience and expertise. Examples of skills based volunteering include translating documents into another language, writing articles for our newsletter, taking photographs that can be used to promote our services and activities, and finding new fundraising sources. Many of these opportunities can be completed remotely on your own schedule. They may be one time projects or ongoing service, but they ALL help our community.

I understand and agree that I am not an employee of the Flint Hills Breadbasket and will not represent myself as such.
As a volunteer, I release and hold harmless the Flint Hills Breadbasket and its employees from all claims, costs, suits, actions, judgments or expenses upon any damage, loss, or injury to me or to my property incurred while volunteering my services at the Flint Hills Breadbasket.
I acknowledge that I am fully aware of the risks posed by this volunteer service and affirm that I have no medical condition that prevents me from engaging in volunteer activities.
I give permission to be photographed by Flint Hills Breadbasket staff, project partners, or the media for use in print materials, social media, website and other promotional or training materials. Prior to taking photos or video, Flint Hills Breadbasket staff will share the purpose of the recording and confirm permission.
